Civil: At town hall or approved venue Religious: Catholic, Protestant, others recognised Symbolic: Not legal, but flexible on locationRequirements
- Valid passport
- Birth certificate (apostilled, translated)
- Certificate of no impediment (CNI)
- Empadronamiento or temporary address
- Divorce/death certificates if applicable
Process
1. Gather documents (3-6 months ahead)
2. Submit to Civil Registry
3. Attend interview (both parties)
4. Receive permission (valid 1 year)
5. Book ceremony and marry!
