Estepona - Costa del Sol

Living in Estepona

Charming Spanish town with beautiful old centre and lower prices.

What it's like

Estepona feels like what Marbella might have been 30 years ago - a proper Spanish town that happens to have great beaches. The old town has been beautifully restored with flower-lined streets, murals on buildings, and proper plazas where locals gather. The port area has excellent seafood restaurants. There's a strong year-round Spanish community alongside a growing expat population. It's more laid-back than Marbella, less flashy than Puerto Banus, and significantly more affordable. The trade-off is you're 20-30 minutes from the main Marbella action.
