Living in Benalmádena
Family-friendly with great transport and attractions.
What it's like
Benalmádena offers three very different experiences. The Pueblo is a pretty whitewashed village with traditional character, views, and a peaceful pace. The Costa is the beachfront strip with hotels, restaurants, Puerto Marina, and tourist infrastructure—busy in summer but with everything on your doorstep. Arroyo de la Miel is the commercial and residential centre, with the train station, large shopping areas, and more Spanish everyday life. The cable car (teleférico) links coast to mountains with spectacular views. Family attractions include the marina, Sea Life aquarium, Tivoli World amusement park, and butterfly park.
